Movie of the Day : Today’s Warner Brothers Archive Edition Blu-ray Pickup & Watch: THE STALKING MOON

 

THE STALKING MOON – First time watching this 52 year old film today, and it exceeded my expectations. Tense, biting, gripping, even brutal. And great performances around the table, but particularly Gregory Peck, delivering one of his great later year performances, and Eva Marie Saint is likewise astonishing, in a raw and heartfelt performance. A great film, and skyrockets into my list of favorite westerns. Highly Recommended. Grade : B+/A-.
