I downloaded this one when it first came out February of this year, and had started listening to it but for whatever reason got sidetracked. I just listened to the whole thing today. It goes in places you wouldn’t imagine, and gives you a whole new appreciation for William Friedkin beyond just as the Director of the Exorcist.
Mark Maron just lets people riff, and you get more out of his podcast shows with some of the intriguing people of our age, than conventional TV or radio knows or cares to bring you. You get to see what really interests people beyond the commercial.
This is an example of great podcasting and great conversation.
This particular episode is no longer available free, I think, but is well worth acquiring and listening to.
